Ideas:

I made this video to allow others to know more about me, especially my diet and taste. I also want to give my audience an experience of "going back to childhood when you shop with your mum". So, I put the GoPro in my shopping cart to record. The editing is fully done by using Adobe Premier Pro.


Another inspiration is coming from my thinking about the interplay between narratives and technical immersion. With the development of immersive technoloy (like VR headset), story telling can become quite different nowadays. We can fully immerse our audience into a narrative world, where they can have a 360 experience. However, this will also make the traditional video narratives techniques not that applicable. During the production, I need to draw several storyboard for each scene, since each scene contains 360 view of degrees. Where to pose the camera? How to tell the story? How to edit the viewing point? How to smoothly connect each scene?...... There are plenty of thing we need to rethink about.


In this video, you will be put into my cart to shop with me. Viewing the grocery store from an unusual angle is an interesting and novel experience. But we experience this quite a lot when we are just little kids. Is it fascinating to go back? Seeing the world from a different view.
